Greetings, I'm idissu! People around me flatter me lots by calling me "talented" and "a prodigy" at music, but I know I still have much to learn about it. I have played cello and bass for around five years now and have recently started learning bassoon.

John Williams and Koji Kondo are of my many inspirations toward the music I create.

I don't generally compose like traditional classical composers like Mozart or Beethoven, instead I take inspiration from Russian composers like Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff, and Shostakovich. I particularly like the romantic era of music with strings in octave unison (string player!).

As much as I am a classical musician, I am a jazz bassist. Standard jazz tunes like "I Got Rhythm" and "Giant Steps" I don't like so much as I like latin and bossa tunes. I have no true inspiration for jazz pieces, the only thing I look to do is write music with sexy five-part sax harmony!
