Coming out of the MIT Media Lab in the early 90's, Nathan has acted as a lead developer/loose cannon in a few Cambridge-area startups (ATG, Maven, Allurent). Since 2008, Nathan has enjoyed his role at Noteflight, finding great satisfaction in developing software for those with a passion for music, both young and old.
Nathan plays a full 'garage band' of instruments - piano, bass, guitar, and drums. He regularly leads the musical worship services at his local church, and dreams of someday convincing his family to form a mariachi band.

Greg "Brady" Bacon
Product Manager
As a musician and composer, with BFA in Art and an MS in Software Engineering, I’m thrilled to be on the front lines of improving a product that is loved by like-minded musicians, composers, and educators everywhere!
In the evenings, you might find me ‘having a lash’ at a few Celtic tunes in a local pub, usually, but not always, on guitar. I’ve also had the good fortune to perform here and abroad — ask me about Switzerland sometime. When I’m not playing out, you might find me in the small studio I built where I can get a bit geeky about things like audio compression. Lastly, I’m keen on finding ways to encourage others to collaborate on writing, arranging, and recording projects.
George "Sufjan" Plesko
Design Director
As a designer, I enjoy working with the team to build exciting new Noteflight features and improve on the existing ones, as well as help to announce them when they're ready!
In my spare time, I play acoustic guitar and also love stepping away from technology and getting outdoors to take in all the trails and water locations around the Boston area.
Sean "Elton" Nealon
Engineer
Hi!! I’m a trumpet player and pianist from the mountains of Vermont gone rogue to chase my dream of creating accessible musical software. I tinkered with interactive music for many years, working on projects such as a musical board game called DropMix at Harmonix and a physical digital media player gizmo at Qleek. At last, I gave into the enveloping powers of software development and learned how to properly program via Thinkful, a full-stack coding bootcamp. Now I rock with the incredible team at Noteflight as we explore the possibilities of music creation on the web. Stay tuned!!
