Greetings Noteflight wanderer, and welcome to my page. My name's Duncan. I'm an amateur composer/arranger who dearly loves the math and science behind music and music composition. My primary instrument is the saxophone, although I have always been interested in the process of learning others, and can play a few more to varying degrees. As for my age, what institution I attend (if any), and other tidbits I've previously dropped in my bio - I have decided to leave them out to avoid being misleading. My presence on Noteflight has been all but nonexistent recently, and I do not anticipate returning here often to do things such as update my profile or whatnot. For composing, I've made the transition to Notion 6, and when taking into consideration the lack of activity on the forums and within the community, there is not a ton of incentive to stay. I'm sure I'll continue to lurk around for a while, as I've used this website for years, but I feel my passive presence is slowly fading. It's been sad to see the distance between this site and myself grow, to say the least.

Even though I am all but gone now, I'm always glad to see people stumble across my work. There isn't a ton of it, and a lot of it isn't very good, but I'm quite proud of it. I have found not much makes me more genuinely happy then receiving praise for my compositions, as I anticipate is true for many of the users on this site. Music composition defined much of my teenage life, and I expect it to continue playing an important role in my journey going forward.
